40 year legacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran – Addiction
Mahmoud Sadeghi a member of Iran’s Parliament representing Tehran, Rey, Shemiranat and Eslamshahr electoral districts recently posted a tweet that led to many speculations on how Iran treated its increasing addiction problem.

“Good news on the eve of the 40th anniversary of the revolution! The capital has been cleared of the dirty presence of addicts!” he tweeted.

“The General Secretary of the Iran Drug Control Headquarters had announced previously that last year, 350,000 small time drug dealers and addicts were arrested and managed,” he added....more
