A White House press office spokeswoman reported the Presidents of the US and France, Donald Tramp and Emmanuel Macron, discussed the chemical attack in Douma, in the Eastern Ghouta area on a phone call on Monday. As the readout from the call read "Both leaders strongly condemned the horrific chemical weapons attacks in Syria and agreed that the Assad regime

must be held accountable for its continued human rights abuses," the source added, “They agreed to exchange information on the nature of the attacks and coordinate a strong, joint response."

Macron declared before Syria's deployment of chemical weapons as a "red line" and said, France "will strike" in response.

Also, UN Ambassador Nikki Haley called for an emergency UN Security Council meeting to be held on Monday "in reference to the horrible chemical weapons attack on innocent civilians in Syria.”
