اندلعت مظاهرات كبرى، منذ قليل، ضمت آلاف من انصار المقاومة الإيرانية، وبمشاركة بعض الجاليات العربية، خارج مقر الأمم المتحدة في نيويورك، حيث اجتماعات الجمعية العامة  للأمم المتحدة .

هناء العطار يشهد العالم کله نشاطا إحتجاجيا متصاعدا للمقاومة الايرانية ضد نظام الجمهورية الاسلامية الايرانية، وهو نشاط يتزامن مع تحقيق إنتصارات سياسية باهرة جديدة بفضل القيادة الفذة للسيدة مريم رجوي، رئيسة الجمهورية المنتخبة من جانب المقاومة الايرانية، حيث نجحت في دفع المجتمع الدولي بإتجاه فتح ملف مجزرة صيف عام 1988، وهو الامر الذي أدخل البهجة في قلوب الشعب الايراني في داخل و خارج إيران و منحه المزيد من التفاٶل و الامل بالخروج من المحنة الحالية و بناء إيران المستقبل.

Struan Stevenson, was a member of the European Parliament (MEP) for Scotland from 1999-2014. During that time, he chaired the Friends of a Free Iran intergroup, which became the centre of pro-democracy campaigns in Europe in support of human rights in Iran. He also chaired European Parliament’s official Delegation for Relations with Iraq. He has written several books on different topics including a book called Self Sacrifice, originally in English and translated to French and German, which explains about the Iranian resistance.

They were protesting the presence of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani at the event and urged the United Nations to call for an end to the Iranian regime’s brutal rule. They also called for the United Nations to take charge of instigating an investigation into the 1988 massacre which ended with the brutal execution of around 30,000 political prisoners.

Political prisoner Mohammad Nazari, who is on  hunger strike  in  Gohardasht Prison in Karaj , was taken to a hospital outside of prison due to the deterioration of his health. But hospital officials have said that they have been instructed by the Judiciary not to examine him.

A provincial police chief has defended the storming of a peaceful labor protest by his anti-riot forces in the Iranian provincial capital city of Arak. “The police forces are in no way against workers’ livelihood but, in some cases, they are dutybound to use their legal means to preserve law and order”, said Commander Kioumars Azizi.

In school our lessons contained no reference to that summer of blood. But I heard one firsthand story in 2012 from Maryam Akbari Monfared while we were both being held in Tehran’s Evin Prison for our political activities.

President Trump just  extended sanctions relief  on Iran, but this does not mean he will certify that Iran is complying with the 2015  Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action  (JCPOA) next month. He won’t, because doing so would mean lying to Congress. The  Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act  (INARA), also known as Corker-Cardin, requires the president to certify that Iran is in compliance with JCPOA every 90 days. Trump has done that twice since he took office, but it was against his better instincts. He was very unhappy with his leadership for not giving him proper ammunition to do the right thing.

Zeinab Jalalian said her weekly family visits had been discontinued by the security section of Khoy Prison, in northwest Iran, and her health continues to deteriorate.  This  Kurdish political prisoner  who is serving the 10 th  year of her prison sentence, in a brief interview said, "Some time ago, I wrote and spoke out against increasing drug abuse inside the ward.

The 1988 massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in Iran  is considered the worst massacre of political prisoners since the end of World War II. Most of those executed were youths who had been imprisoned for taking part in peaceful demonstrations or for having read political literature. Many of them had finished serving their sentences.

According to the reports from various parts of Iran, the regime has been eliminating the signs of this MEK genocide in several cities including Ahvaz (southwestern Iran), Mashhad (northeast), Isfahan (center of Iran), Tabriz and Ardabil (northwestern), etc. They seek to destroy the mass graves of MEK members so that the families could not pay tribute to their loved ones the way they have been doing for years in various ways such as cementing the graves or removing the garbage and so on.

Such change is imperative.The flawed nuclear agreement in 2015, provided too many concessions, including tens of billions of dollars to the Iranian regime, following decades of deceit and lying in pursuit of the nuclear bomb.Tehran’s nuclear program continues, and its military sites remain off limits to inspectors. But more than that, the Obama administration’s agreement has resulted in more egregious conduct by the ayatollahs, in terms of sponsoring terror and Islamic extremism, cooperating with North Korea in pursuit of ballistic missiles, and cracking down on domestic dissent. AP, September 13, 2017 - In a lengthy interview with the AP, the US House Speaker, Paul Ryan said Iran is the largest state sponsor of terrorism and the main source of destabilizing the region. Julie Pace, Washington bureau chief for The Associated Press asked the speaker to comment on Iran saying the president has talked pretty tough on Iran but the administration has continued to authorize the nuclear deal.

انتخب مجاهدو خلق (المعارضة الايرانية) زهراء مريخي أمينا عاما جديدا  وذلك خلال الاحتفال بالذكرى الـ 52  لتأسيسها. وعقدت منظمة مجاهدي خلق الإيرانية مؤتمرها العام في العاصمة الألبانية تيرانا وخمس عواصم أخرى في أوروبا ووفق النظام الداخلي للمنظمة، يُنتخب الأمين العام للمنظمة لفترة عامين قابل للتمديد. وتجري الانتخابات على ثلاث  مراحل.  ويُدلي في المرحلة الأولى أعضاء المجلس المركزي بأصواتهم وفي المرحلة الثانية يدلي مسؤولون وكوادر في مختلف أقسام المنظمة بآصواتهم وفي المرحلة الثالثة وفي المؤتمر العام يدلي الأعضاء أصواتهم بشكل علني وبرفع الأيدي.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) promotes sectarianism against Sunnis in the predominantly Shiite country, a report in al-Arabiya stated yesterday while warning of a potential civil war. It also accuses the Iranian regime of working to eliminate Sunnis through sectarian activities and disrupting development in their provinces. According to the report, clerics' activities and IRGC institutions are increasing in southern areas of the country, especially in the Sistan, Baluchistan and Khorasan provinces. Iran, which has been accused of exposing sectarian fault lines in the region, especially in Yemen, Syria and Iraq, tried to soften its rhetoric as President Hassan Rouhani said there should be greater unity between Shiites and Sunnis and that they had coexisted side by side peacefully for hundreds of years.

Amnesty International, 11 September 2017 - The Iranian authorities must immediately and unconditionally release a human rights defender arrested from her home last night, who has previously been targeted by the authorities for her peaceful activism, said Amnesty International.Raheleh Rahemipour has spent years trying to uncover the truth about what happened to her brother and baby niece who were forcibly disappeared while in custody during the early 1980s. She was sentenced to a year in prison earlier this year in connection with these efforts and has been awaiting the outcome of her appeal.

NCRI - The Secretary-General of the United Nations received a statement from the Nonviolent Radical Party, Transnational and Transparty, a non-governmental organization in general consultative status, Women's Human Rights International Association, Edmund Rice International Limited, non-governmental organizations in special consultative status, and International Educational Development, Inc., a non-governmental organization. The statement was a call for the formation of a UN Commission of Inquiry so that the  1988 massacre  of political prisoners can be investigated. The organizations said that they want the perpetrators of the crime to be punished and want impunity to end.

NCRI - The state-run Tasnim news agency affiliated to the terrorist Quds force reported on Monday, September 11, that three supporters of a prominent spiritual teacher called Mohammad Ali Taheri who participated in the protest gathering against death sentence of their teacher, were arrested by the agents of the Iranian regime’s Ministry of Intelligence on Monday. Also, 10 other people were arrested during a party in Shahr-e Ray in the past few days on charges of planning a protest rally against Mr. Taheri's death sentence.

NCRI -  Amnesty International’s recent report caught in a web of repression shows a detailed overview of the repression facing human rights activists in Iran. Under international law, enforced disappearances are crimes. International human rights bodies have recognized that an enforced disappearance may cause such severe mental distress for family members, who have the right not to be subjected to inhumane or degrading treatment. Among several of the human rights defenders whose cases were featured, is one who was previously been targeted by the authorities for her peaceful activism. Regarding recently arrested human rights defender,  Raheleh Rahemipour , demands have been issued to Iranian authorities for her immediate and unconditional release, according to Amnesty International.

Two of the major crises the international community is currently engaged with are terrorism and nuclear proliferation. Iran, in particular, is negatively involved in both fields, being known as the central banker of international terrorism, and suspicious for its own controversial nuclear program at home parallel to its nuclear/missile collaboration with North Korea.

Suzanne Omri, 14, died in a hospital on September 3, 2017. She was one of the four female workers who suffered severe burns in a gas explosion in a brick kiln in Viaghan in East Azerbaijan Province, northwestern Iran. On August 29, 2017, four Kurdish women workers were injured during work at a  brick kiln  in the town of Viaghan. The four women were identified as Shahla Mohammadzadeh, 35, Fatemeh Ebrahimzadeh, 10, Suzanne Omari, 14, and Sazegar Omri, 10.
