Poland (Warsaw) Summit: the international coalition against the Iranian regime The  Poland (Warsaw) Summit   co-hosted by U.S. and Poland on February 13-14 aims at improving peace and security in the Middle East and focuses on confronting mullah’s regime meddling in the region.

One year ago, Iranians of all stripes took to the streets en masse to express their grievances with the regime. While Tehran suppressed those demonstrations, protesters were undeterred, continuing such public gatherings throughout 2018. But while the Iranian people continue to risk their lives to publicly demand a better and freer future, the United States and Europe must do more to have their backs.

Iran mullahs have their own sophisticated network to spread fake news to run Psychological Warfare against the rival states in the Middle East region and to pave the path to suppress protesters inside the country and to hurdle and assassinate the members of opposition abroad. President-elect Maryam Rajavi; the Star of Hope in Iran’s Sky Undoubtedly, in the desert of fundamentalism, which is the major threat to the world in our era, a star of hope must be found. This star not only does annihilate the fundamentalists’ regulations and thoughts but also inspires a  shining future . Many Iranians, whose country is under the rule of the worst kind of fundamentalism, believe that the president-elect Maryam Rajavi symbolizes this hope.

  Jan. 17, 2019   - Warsaw will be hosting an international conference in the middle of February and the Iranian regime is already expressing deep concerns in this regard. The state-run “Iranian Diplomacy” website writes about a wave of different blows inflicted upon Tehran’s mullahs, especially their policy of warmongering and terrorism across the region.

Western Leaders Must Join Iranian Activists in Recognizing Their Movement’s Potential Earlier this week, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI or MEK) reported that members of its “resistance units” had assembled at the gravesite of world champion wrestler and civil activist, Gholamreza Takhti, in order to pay respects to all those who were killed one year earlier in a nationwide protests against Iran’s theocratic government.

INU- On January 9th, the European Council of Ministers issued a statement imposing sanctions on two senior officials of the Iranian regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) and placed their names on the EU terror black list. They have also extended the restricting measures on individuals and entities who were previously designated by the EU. Following US exit from the 2015 nuclear deal, the regime in Iran is depending on their relations with the European Union to continue to be good and expanding, and that the EU will carry on its support for the accord with Tehran.

Sunday, January 13, 2019, Maryam Rajavi attended a New Year ceremony entitled, “Solidarity with the Iranian People’s Resistance and Uprising,” where French mayors, elected representatives and supporters of the Iranian Resistance were present. Mrs. Anissa Boumediene, former First Lady of Algeria; Mr. Dominique Lefebvre, former MP; Bishop Jacques Gaillot, a number of Paris district mayors, the mayor of Val d’Oise, and a number of French personalities participated. Maryam Rajavi  welcomed the audience and extended her New Year felicitations. She briefly reviewed the events of the past year and elaborated on the prospects of 2019. Following is the text of her speech:

These days, we’re witnessing a multitude of crises throughout Iran. These different events which gradually join one another mount to a very strong movement, a movement that can cause fundamental change. In a country that its people have been enchained in tyranny and poverty for decades, any crises can spark the powder keg of protests.

On December 20, 2018, Spiegel published a  statement  on Claas Relotius fraud case on its website that shocked the public. In this statement, the Spiegel apologized to its readers for publishing Relotius’s fabricated passages for years. This was proof of how vulnerable both the public opinion and media giants are to the spreading fake news.  

“For decades, Tehran’s theocratic rulers have gone to great lengths to make inroads in Western media outlets once notable for upholding commitments to journalistic independence,” writes professor Sheehan in his article “ Tehran’s Influence Operations a Threat to Journalistic Independence ”.  Yellow journalism and fake news  is what we have been witnessing for decades being used by the mullahs’ regime and its proxies as well as its lobbies, as a tool to demonize the legitimate alternative to this regime, NCRI, and its c ore organization the MEK/PMOI .

The Iranian regime, stuck in the dilemma of domestic and international crises, sees its survival in the annihilation of the Iranian resistance. Regime’s terror plots and psychological warfare campaign to demonize the MEK/PMOI and the Iranian resistance are nothing new. But in past years, these actions of the regime, and the MEK revelations of them were ignored due to the appeasement policy.

Unfortunately, we live in a world that the state-sponsors of terrorism threaten global peace and security. It is clear that terrorism reflects the corruption and deterioration of morality and humanity and alienation from the civilized world in the 21st century. There are governments that exploit terrorism as a device to silence dissidents. But in our era terrorism doesn’t stop at this stage.

Iranian labor activist Esmail Bakhshi is under pressure by Iran’s security system to take back his statement on being tortured “to the brink of death” while in prison. Various sources, including the lawyer of the Haft Tappeh Sugarcane workers’ representative, have confirmed that Bakhshi and his family are under pressure.

The body of a woman who had accused an Iranian member of parliament of  rape  was found in her home in East Azarbaijan Province.
