By INU Staff INU - Iran’s Supreme Security Council is planning a new terrorist plot against opposition group, the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran  (PMOI/MEK ), because of the popular group’s role in the ongoing uprising.

On Friday, August 10, 2018, a three-person television crew secretly and without prior notice filmed and photographed inside the residence of members of the  People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI ), refugees in Albania, from adjacent land. Local Albanian security agents who spotted this suspicious and illegal act asked them to stop filming and to hand over the recordings. But the crew, who introduced themselves as Britons working for Britain’s Channel 4 TV, ignored this request and continued their work until Albanian police moved in and took them to the police station.

By INU Staff INU - The Iranian regime has often denied that the  People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK)  has a large following in Iran. Officials have said on numerous occasions that the opposition’s influence in Iran is minimal and that it is no real threat to the Iranian regime.

On Saturday night, August 4th, courageous youth in the town of Gohardasht - Karaj once again demonstrated and chanted: Khamenei, shame on you, let go the country; Fellow Iranians, shout and cry for your rights. The repressive forces fired at the protesters.

                                                                                                                           On June 30, a large delegation from the Iranian American Community of Maryland attended the annual gathering of the Iranian opposition near Paris. The Organization of Iranian American Communities( OIAC ) was among the organizers of the  Free Iran rally , an opportunity for not only exiled Iranians but also political dignitaries from throughout the world to voice their support for the cause of democracy and secular governance in Iran.

مريم رجوي في الذكرى الثلاثين لمجزرة ثلاثين ألف وردة للحرية: شهداء مجزرة 1988 آشعلوا فتيل انتفاضات وحركة الاحتجاج المنتشرة في أنحاء إيران أيها المواطنون الأعزاء؛ الذكرى الثلاثون لمجزرة ثلاثين ألف وردة حمراء للحرية من أبناء الشعب الإيراني هي يوم شموخ المنتفضين وكل إيراني حرّ عقد عزمه للإطاحة بنظام ولاية الفقيه. المجاهدون والمناضلون الذين قتلوا في  مجزرة في العام 1988  ، رفعوا بهاماتهم المشانق شامخة حتى تبقى الأمة الإيرانية مرفوعة الرأس في واحدة من أحلك فترات تاريخها.

تظاهرات واسعة في مدن إيرانية مريم رجوي: لا نجاة لاقتصاد إيران الآيل للانهيار، إلّا بإسقاط النظام استؤنفت يوم الثلاثاء موجة تظاهرات شعبية في مختلف المدن الإيرانية. حيث شهدت مدن أصفهان وشيراز وكرج وهي من المدن الإيرانية المهمة تظاهرات واسعة نظمها المواطنون الذين طالبوا خلالها بإسقاط النظام. ففي أصفهان ردّد المواطنون شعار الموت للدكتاتور. الشباب في جوهردشت بمدينة كرج بدأوا تظاهرتهم بشعار ليرحل الملالي ولا تفيدهم استخدام الدبابة والمدفعية.
